girl-shaped SOLU (Misaki Nadeshiko (美咲 撫子))

So I was going to do this and then didn't, but then I felt bad reading how cool Envy's writeup was so I faked my own. Which is IC. I win.

Nonhuman what?: Nadeshiko is just a bucket of slime from the far reaches of space which has taken on human form. Said slime is called SOLU or Seeds of Life in the Universe. It is a non-sentient life form - but Gentarou friendshipped his slime so hard that yes, she gained sentience. Friendship.

Abilities: SOLU can rapidly replicate cells and create objects out of nothing. If it is near an object, it can essentially clone it - or it can shapeshift into that object. So yeah, SOLU can mimic anything it "sees" or comes into contact with, but without sentience, it can only parrot back speech and abilities. It must be shown something to do something. SOLU is all reflex and copying, nothing much more. (Obviously, Nadeshiko is the special snowflake of the space goo universe, but this mimicry and ability to create still applies.)

So what?: What that really means is Nadeshiko can on a technical point be or do whatever she wants or whatever she sees. Can does not necessarily mean will, however. It is the nature of SOLU to do these things to better itself, but Nadeshiko is... mmm, sort of a hybrid now? Because she gained sentience, and because she knows the people she does, she exists. She is no longer bound by reflex as she once was. And she likes that. She has based her entire existence on humans.

She doesn't have anything you could consider a true form, because SOLU doesn't work that way. This isn't a disguise or a mirage or anything like that. Yes, the natural state of SOLU is a silvery, Alex Mack-type goo! And if you rough her up hard enough you might force her to revert to that state to escape. But otherwise she'll stay human.

Pings: From space? Feels like space? She would be a very confusing ping, because she's human but not all at once.

With all of that said, her body is technically human. It is probably not a completely perfect human body, because it was originally made without the understanding of how humans actually function. A heart that beats and circulates blood, sure. Breathing, sure. But other systems that weren't explicitly shown or explained ... Well the nitty gritty is that the rest of the body's systems are probably on pause. Not knowing how a body digests or ovulates means that it ... probably won't... which is tmi but oh well!! Good news for Kengo I guess.
